Villa student at Seoul
Erin Tierney, a former student of Villa Maria College, is representing the Cook Islands at the Olympic Games in Seoul. Tierney, aged 18 years, is competing in the 100 m sprint and the long jump, and although not a top contender, she is hoping to improve her personal best achievements to date. Tierney has spent most of her life in Rarotonga, but intends to pursue a university education in Auckland next year.
