Wilander withdraws
jsjZPA AFP Stockholm The new world tennis No. 1, Mats Wilander, has pulled out of the Seoul Olympics because he does not want to aggravate an injury. The Swede is suffering from periostitis, inflammation of membrane covering the bones, in his legs. Wilander will make his comeback in the Paris Open, starting on October 24. . J Last week, West Germany’s twice Wimbledon champion, Boris Becker, also pulled out of the Olympics because of injury.
