Witnesses sought
Witnesses are sought by the Ministry of Transport to an accident at Lyttelton on Monday afternoon in which a trailer overturned, spilling 14 pallets of soft-drink bottles. No-one was hurt in the accident, which happened near the entrance to the Lyttelton Road tunnel, about 3 p.m. A Ministry of Transport spokesman said the load had been secured to the trailer and witnesses were sought to help piece events together. Those with information arc asked to get in touch with Traffic Officer Blue Stephens, in Christchurch.
