Sunglasses stolen

A selection of sunglasses valued at $2500 was taken from a Merivale optician on Monday night. The burglars broke into the premises of Warren D. Jordan, dispensing optician, in the Village Gate, by climbing a gate and forcing open a window. A small amount of cash was taken, and 25 pairs of sunglasses valued between $lOO and $175. Included in the brands taken were Vuarnet, Glacier and Carrera glasses.
