For bus commuters
Commuto is a new, flexible and exciting game for bus commuters. It runs for five weeks, beginning on Friday, September 16 and finishes on Friday, October 21.
The inspiration behind the game comes from Empha Marketing who have the approval of the Lotteries Commission in Wellington to run the campaign using their weekly draw on television. Everyone will benefit from Commuto, says Mr Martin Russell, of Empha Marketing. Bus patronage will increase; 320,000 patrons are expected to travel by bus each week, giving a total of 1,600,000 passengers for the five week period.
Bus patrons will have the chance to win cash prizes of between $lOO — $20,000. As well many retailers are offering discounts and other incentives for
people shopping at their stores. Retailers will benefit too because more people will travel both into the city and to suburban shopping centres by bus so stores can expect increased patronage. Commuto is unique in that it depends for prize allocation on a draw not yet made. It is completely free of any suggestion of “rigging” or impropriety.
