Webb wins award
Marilynn Webb, a New Zealand artist, has won one of ten awards for her pastel works in the International Art Show, held in New York last month. Curators for the awards were Lisa Messinger (Metropolitan Museum of Art), Janet Satz (Whitney Museum), Cusie Pfeifer and Marcusie Pfeifer (Gallery New York) and Carl Little (art critic, “Art in America”). Marilynn Webb was invited to submit work for the international event in May. Her submitted works were part of “Being in the Maniototo Suite” recently shown at the Dowse Art Museum in June.
