Greyhounds Profit Galore favoured

With the scratching of Magic Command the way has been left clear for Profit Galore to assume favouritism for the Capital City Stakes, the second leg of the T.A.B. double and the fourth T.A.B. trifecta event at the Wellington Greyhound Racing Club’s meeting at Hutt Park today.

The Ray Adcocktrained speedster has proved to be the best sprinter now racing in New Zealand, but the 520 m she encounters today will fully test her. Profit Galore is likely to open a break on her rivals in the early part, and will face strong opposition from the noted stayers, Crafty Tiree, Brydie Girl and Libran Monarch over the concluding stages. Brydie Girl won at good odds at her last outing at Hutt Park, while Crafty Tiree appears to have lost her form of recent months with a succession of placed efforts, however when she is right, there are few to match her.
