Soprano wins contest
PA Auckland A soprano from Clevedon, near Auckland, Gina Sanders;, aged 27, won the “New Zealand Herald” aria contest at the week-end. She received $2750. A Wellington baritone, Murray Wood, was second and won $750. Third place went to an Auckland soprano, Christina Brown, who won $5OO. ’
