Mammoth leg found
NZPA-Reuter Moscow A 33,000-year-old leg of a mammoth, complete with hair and toenails, has been found in the ground near the town of Magadan in the Soviet Far East, “Izvestia” reports. The section of leg from the thigh to the ankle weighs 100 kg. It is the third such find in recent years and is by far the best preserved.
