Prisons inquiry sitting
The Ministerial Committee of Inquiry into the Prisons System has set September 12 to begin its Christchurch sitting.
The public hearing is scheduled to begin in the State Services Commission’s conference room on the fifth floor of the A.M.P. Building in Cathedral Square.
The committee has advertised for people who wish to attend the hearing to write to the secretary, Mr Trevor Withers, at P.O. Box 27-082, Shirley, Christchurch, before September 2.
They are being asked to give an estimate of the time required to present their submissions.
