New health stamp issue
A new health stamp issue with an Olympic Games theme will be released tomorrow in support of the Children’s Health Camp Board. A special stamp issue is made by New Zealand Post each year to help raise funds for the camps, which provide relief for families under pressure. There are seven main camps throughout New
Zealand, including one in Christchurch. First-day covers in sets of seven, with a set of stamps, and postmarked at each of the health camps, are available only from the Health Camp Board, P.O. Box 306, Wellington. Proceeds from the sale of the covers at $48.95 will go to the seven health camps to improve and extend facilities.
