Service is vital
Efficiency coupled with the ability to “do what we say or do at a reasonable price,” is a formula for courier success according to Mr Geoff Hart, general manager for TNT Couriers.
TNT Couriers are part of the constantly expanding global transport company TNT.
A relative newcomer on the New Zealand courier scene they have been operating in New Zealand for two years. According to Mr Hart
the aim of TNT Couriers is to achieve market dominance within this country. The company offers a diverse range of courier services and has established a national infrastructure Mr Hart believes is “the best.” Quality of service and a corporate culture that stresses excellence are an integral part of the structure TNT have set up. Mr Hart asserts that TNT Couriers are the only courier company in New
Zealand that insists on a signature at destination. Another variation is in their small parcel service which is limited to items weighing up to 30kg. “Our close working relationship with Ansett Airfreight offers us a greater degree of flexibility of service,” Mr Hart said. On the ground TNT Couriers also operates a national network of linehaul vehicles operating between cities and towns.
