‘Sun’ writ withdrawn
Ansett New Zealand will withdraw its suit for unspecified damages against the now defunct Auckland “Sun” newspaper. The airline filed its claim in the Auckland High Court in May after the “Sun” published a report about a Boeing 737. Ansett’s chief executive, Mr Ross Keenan, said there was now no point in pursuing the action.
