Riccarton transfer

Fly Baby, a smart Truly Vain two-year-old formerly trained by Maurice Campbell at Feilding has transferred south to the stable of Michael Pitman at Riccarton.

Fly Baby came south yesterday in the company of Del Da Neil which was to have had just the one start at the Trentham meeting. Del Da Neil tossed rider Ross Elliot as the pair were leaving the birdcage before the Te Aro Handicap and galloped half a round of the course before being captured. He finished eighth. Fly Baby, which Campbell brought south on an autumn campaign, will race in the same interests as Famillion, a good winner for the stable. She is aimed at the Wrightson Southern Filly of the Year Series.
