Well plans
Petrocorp Exploration, Ltd, as operator of the Waihapa petroleum mining licence (PML 38140) in onshore Taranaki, plans two further wells to help evaluate the field’s production potential. The wells, to be drilled by OD and E Rig 15, will share a common surface site, which is now being prepared. Drilling of the first of the two wells is scheduled to start late next month.
