Ireland defeated
NZPA ’ AFP u Rochelle, France Ireland’s short tour of France ended with a heavy defeat by the French Barbarians in a 67-point 12-try spectacular in stifling heat yesterday. The Barbarians — including seven internationals, among them the former All Black skipper and scrumhalf, David Kirk — triumphed 41-26, running in seven tries to Ireland’s five.
