Shakespearian forum
As part of the present! “Just Will” Shakespearian comedy series a free public forum will be held at the Court Theatre on Sunday afternoon. Dr Bruce Cochrane, a lecturer in English at the University of Canterbury, will speak on comedy in Shakespeare. The talk will bes followed by an informal
discussion chaired by Dr Cochrane. The directors of the Shakespearian works which make up the series will take part.- - ji|j j They are Rozena Hallam, who directed the Repertory | Theatre’s season of “The Comedy of Errors,” Robin Bond, who is directing the Unij versity of Canterbury
Drama Society’s production of “As You Like It,” which opens on April 21, and Elric Hooper, of the Court Theatre which is staging “The Boys From Syracuse,”; the musical based on “Thei Comedy of Errors,” and “Much Ado About Nothing.” | The talk ; will be repeated at the university! on April 20.
