PA | Wellington The Auckland heavyweight boxer, Jimmy Peau, feels he has no alternative if he is to make the Seoul Olympic team than to take the bout against a top Russian next month. I i The national coach and selector, Alan Scaife, said that the card — to be supported by another Russian opponent for the light heavyweight Raeli Raeli — was a “money making scheme” and "not in the best interests of the boys.” | Peau’s 28 day suspension following his knock-out in the pre-Olympic tournament in Seoul last month ends today and Mr Scaife said that left the heavyweight insufficient time to prepare for a[ world class opponent.
