PA Wellington Federated Fanners will ask the Government for early (help for storm-hit farmers on the East Coast. The; president, Mr Brian Chamberlain, expressed concent yesterday that many j isolated farmers had lost contact with the outside world. “They have no power to listen I to radio or television, no telephone, no road access and cannot be reached by helicopter because! of high winds and poor visibility,” he said.
