Water skiers strong

PA Wellington New Zealand made a strong start to the junior world water ski champs, which began in Melbourne yesterday, with two skiers through to the finals. I| Randal McKenzie, of Rotorua, scored 21 points for sixth place and Glen Williams, of Northland, 17.25 points for eleventh at the completion of the boys’ preliminary round. At the end of the preliminaries New Zealand is in second position over all behind Canada out of the 14 competing countries.
