Banks Peninsula harbour race
The keelers Archon and Blurred Image won line honours in their respective divisions in the Banks Peninsula Cruising Club's harbour race last Saturday. The first ’ division Archon snatched victory by 2s in the stop-start race from Southern Fun (McMillin). ockabye continued her good form to win handicap honours, while Ivanhoe came to the fore to win tire division two handicap section.
Results: Division one — line honours: Archon (A. and W. Archer) 1. Handicap: Rockabye (N. Cross, S. Rose) 1, Coriakin (K. Baronian) 2, Archon 3. Division two —- line honours: Blurred Image (C. Allan) 1. Handicap: Ivanhoe (A. Car) 1, Coquette (W. Lewis) 2, Southern Huntress (J. Sinclair) 3.
