Music competition forms available
Entry forms for the 1988 Westpac School Music Contest are now available. They have been sent to secondary schools and music teachers, and are also available from branches of Westpac Banking Corporation. | This year's contest has an instrumental performance section for groups of three to eight, and an original composition section. The compositions will be per-
formed |in the instrumental section at district contests. The contest is organised byi the Music Federation of New Zealand. All entrants participate in a district contest. At the conclusion of these eyents, up to eight groups will be named to perform in the national final, to be held in the Wellington Town Hall on Saturday, August 13. Entries will close on Sunday,' April 10.
