Surgery required
A Hanmer Springs woman suffered head injuries and a suspected broken arm in a car accident on Jacks Pass Road, near the township,?' on Thursday evening. Mrs April Larch underwent surgery at Christ-
church Hospital yesterday and i was reported in a comfortable condition. The accident happened about 11.30 p.m. She was the sole occupant, of a car which left the road and went into a deep culvert.
