Happy progress
The Happy Valley-IB well 20km west of Clifden in Western Southland was attempting to free a stuck pipe at 6 a.m. yesterday, Petrocorp said. The well was at 611 metres. Target depth is 3300 m. Partners in the well are N.Z. Petroleum and associates Southland Energy Resources and Triton Oil N.Z. (32.5 per cent), Continental Shelf Co (No 95) Ltd (30 per cent), Petrocorp Exploration (operator, 12.5 per cent), Hyannis Holdings (5 per cent) and Todd Southland Oil (20 per cent).
