John Hallen (Hallencraft) approaches the line in the Charisma jet sprint on the Waimakariri River last week-end. Hallen set the fastest time of the final 16 boats and qualified for the final four. He drove off his line in his final run and had to be content with fourth place. He will be among the leading contenders for the Cee Bee Marine sprint to be held over the same Waimakariri River course this week-end.
