Mayoress patron
The Mayoress of .Christchurch, Lady Hay, is the new patron of the Christchurch Business and Professional Women’s Club. The club is a member of the National and International Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs and has been active in Christchurch for the last 50 years. It will meet the first Monday of every month with various speakers planned for this year to speak on its present theme of “Why Not a Woman?.”
Group discussion, seminars, and visits to City Council meetings are all included in the 1988 agenda.
