Not enough surgical gloves
PA Levin ' Plastic surgical gloves may become in short supply if employers take the advice of their association. In a recent newsletter the Wellington Employers’ Association advises its clients that forthcoming first-aid legislation will compel employers to include plastic gloves in first aid kits as a precaution against the spread of A.I.D.S. and hepatitis “B.” The association urges its clients to obtain the gloves now. When similar measures were introduced into the U.S. glove manufacturers could not keep up with the demand, it is understood.
