Training seminars for milk delivery
Self-motivation and looking after the customer were the main points emphasised at two training seminars held for milk delivery people by the Canterbury Dairy Farmers, Ltd. According to the marketing manager of Canterbury Dairy Farmers, Mr Garth Asher, the seminars are the first of their kind to be held in New Zealand. “Because children deliver 80 per cent of the milk in Christchurch L itis
important to teach them how to keep the customer happy by providing good service, and how to take pride in what they’re doing,” Mr Asher said. The seminars, which were held at the Aranui and Cashmere high schools, had as the main speaker, Mr Grahame Felton who is a specialist in sales marketing, personal development and motivation. About 500 children attended.
