Burglar disturbed
A neighbour disturbed a burglar in a Richmond chemist shop late on Wednesday evening. A storm water drain cover was thrown through a window of Roger Preeble Pharmacy, at the corner of Stanmore Road and North Avon Road, about 11 p.m. The offender was searching through shelves in the dispensary when disturbed. He fled on a 10-speed bicycle, with two bottles of pills. The burglar was European, aged about 17, of medium build with black hair. He wore a black ski jacket and black tracksuit pants with white stripes down the legs.
