Promotion tour a ‘holiday’
It sounds like one big holiday for the British actors, John Aiderton and Hannah Gordon. In a two-week promotion tour for the Keith Prowse organisation in Australia and New Zealand, they have been
yachting, watching tennis and cricket, sightseeing and travelling. Today they will be at the Bicentenary cricket test in Sydney. The pair were invited on the promotion tour with fellow British actor, Paul Eddington, because
Keith Prowse organises specialty tours, including theatre tours. Although the actors are best known in this country through their various television credits, they spend time on British stages.
New Zealand viewers know the tall Englishman from “Please Sir,” “Upstairs, Downstairs” and “My Wife Next Door.” They know Hannah Gordon from “Telford's Change” and “My Wife Next Door.”
Aiderton has fitted in the tour in a two-week break from the National Theatre’s production of "Waiting for Godot” Hannah Gordon has just finished filming a 10-epi-sode series
