Man on bombing charge
PA Invercargill An Invercargill man, aged 30, arrested yesterday, has been charged with bombing the Road Knights gang headquarters and the attempted murder of a police sergeant. The man will appear in the District Court at Invercargill tomorrow. He has been charged with attempting to murder Sergeant Mark Gane, wilful damage by explosives of Trust Bank’s Waikiwi branch and the Road Knights gang headquarters, unlawful possession of explosives, discharging a firearm at police with reckless and total disregard for their safety, and unlawfully taking a motor vehicle.
