Gore club not seeking new date
PA Invercargill The Gore Racing Club will not seek an alternative date to replace its abandoned Gore Guineas Day fixture on Tuesday. The club had to abandon the meeting after three of the eight races had been run. The club’s executive met yesterday afternoon to explore the possibility of seeking a new permit. All angles were carefully studied, but the club elected to cut its losses and not seek an alternative permit.
