Selected students are eligible for the Tertiary Assistance Grant. SCIENCE TECHNICIAN A 1 year course providing students with a theoretical knowledge and laboratory skills across a broad range of sciences. Work experience arranged and assistance with obtaining jobs provided. LANDSKILLS A 12 week course (Term 1) aimed at recent school leavers who have a minimum of three years secondary schooling, and who are interested in farming or horticulture. The course has a blend of theory, practical and work experience and is designed to enhance prospects of employment or acceptance for further study. COMPUTING PRE-COMPUTING A 12 week full-time course for those who are keen to enter the data processing industry, but are not sure if they have the aptitude for this type of work or who do not have the entry qualifications for our full-time Computer Studies course. The course provides an introduction to computers and the computer industry, microcomputer packages (word processing, spread sheet, database), and programming (BASIC and COBOL).
