Talented four-year-olds clash at Forbury Park

Special correspondent Dunedin Noodlum’s Fella will be in demand for the second heat of the Anngow Motors Championship at the Forbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting at Forbury Park this evening. He is a talented four-year-old which won at Addington at his last start, on January 4 and will be driven by Richard Brosnan this evening. Ankorman, which was driven by Brosnan to finish second (promoted from third) to Ebony Mist in the first heats of the championship series, on the first night of the meeting, will be driven by Robert Cameron. Ankorman is expected to be improved with his race last Saturday as he had not raced for seven weeks and missed some work last month with a cut foot. Dainty Smooth did well for third last Saturday after a severe check early in the race. She won at Addington three nights earlier. Shot, is fancied for the second leg of the T.A.B. double. He was a sound second to Buster Boy on the first night of the meeting after racing wide back in the field and finished second to Del Cafe at Ascot Park at his previous start.
