Wingatui ran for Bonecrasher likely
PA Dunedin Plans to race Bonecrusher at Wingatui on February 13 firmed at the week-end. Bonecrusher has been booked to fly from Auckland to Christchurch on Friday week. He will probably stop over for two days in Christchurch then continue south by road. Mr Russell Brinsdon,! the secretary of the Otago Racing Club, spoke with Bonecrusher’s Takanini trailer, Frank Ritchie and
owner, Peter Mitchell yesterday. Arrangements have been made for Bonecrusher to be stabled at the White Robe Lodge stud and training establishment at North Taieri. White Robe Lodge Stud is sponsoring the race attracting the connections of Bonecrusher, which was sidelined with a leg problem 10 months ago. Boncrusher can be given no more then scale weight, 57.5 kg, in the $30,000, 1600 metrejevent.
