Hanson victory
Tracey Hanson, of Wellington beat Margaret Coughlan (St Clair), 5 and 3, to win the Toyota South Island junior under-25 women’s golf tournament at the Waitikiri Golf Club yesterday. In the plate final, Lynne-Marie Shaskey (Waitikiri) beat Rachel Drydon (Roxburgh), 5 and 3, and in the special plate final, Vicky Collis (Green Acres, Blenheim) beat Rerry Williams (Raiapoi), 5 and 3. In the consolation plate final, Dianne Wallace (Raiapoi) beat club-mate Michele Clair, 4 and 2.
