This is a challenging sole-charge position which will operate independently of but will report of the Consultancy Manager in our Dunedin Office. Prime functions of the position include: • The provision of operational, technical and managerial consultancy services for the forestry sector within the Region. • Fulfilling a forest manager’s role for major clients. • Acting as an agent on behalf of clients for the sale of forest produce both on local and export markets. Whilst tertiary level training in forestry is desirable it is more important that applicants can demonstrate proven ability in a forest consultancy or managerial role. It is unlikely that the appointee will have had less than five years employment in the forestry sector. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
