Changes in diplomatic pools
PA Wellington Mr Paul-Cotton will be New Zealand’s next Con-sul-General in New York, a position he has previously held, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Marshall.
Mr Cotton, at present Ambassador in Manila, replaces Mr Winston Cochrane who was recently appointed New Zealand’s Ambassador in Riyadh. He will take up his appointment early in 1988.
