A Christchurch couple chose an unusual way to arrive at their wedding at Mona Vale on Saturday.Donna Somervale, of Christchurch Punting Company, guides the punt containing (from left), the bride and groom, Rochelle Montgomery and Alister Sides, the matron of honour, Rachel Osborne, the best man, Stuart Riddell (obscured), and Stuart Montgomery. The punt was transported by road to the entrance of Mona Vale, then punted upstream to the Iris lawn where a marquee was set up for the wedding.
