Scotland wins bowls
NZPA Hong Kong Scotland emerged as the 1987 Hong Kong classic law bowls championship winner when it defeated Ireland 27-10 in an abbreviated 18 end final.
New Zealand’s Peter Beiliss and Rowan Brassey were defeated by the young Scotsmen, Richard; Corsle (lead) and the skip. Brian Middlemass 21-14 in an earlier quarter-final. £
