Changes for park trust
Ferrymead Historic Park’s trust board altered Its constitution last week in a move which dramatically restructures the park's administration. The trust adopted constitutional amendments which will see a smaller board of trustees and an
increased input from the business sector, said its director, Mr Robin Sutton. A small management team will also oversee the running of the park. The move comes after a recommendations from a management and marketing study funded by
the Tourist and Publicity Department. Mr Sutton said the park was “Now well positioned to expand into the areas of hands-on historical interpretation and science and technology orientated education.”
