Christmas Eve carols
A “Carols by Candlelight” Festival will again be held on the banks of the Avon River on Christmas Eve. The carols will be sung near the Hereford Street bridge from 9 p.m. to 10
p.m. Last year the event organised by the Y.M.C.A., was well supported. The singing this year will again be conducted by Mr Francis Dennis with the Salvation Army Citadel Band providing the music.
