Birthday for commission
The Human Rights Commission plans to mark its tenth birthday on December 10 on International Human Rights Day. The commission is arranging for library displays to be held in most
of the main centres. There will also be a formal function at Parliament at which the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Palmer, will speak on the Government’s hopes for the commission in the next decade.
