Canterbury rivers
The following are the river reports provided by the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society on Friday: Waiau, slightly milky but fishable; Hurunui, slightly discoloured but fishable; Ashley, clear and fishable; Waimakariri mouth and gorge, both milky and marginal; Selwyn, clear and fishable; Rakaia mouth and gorge, clear and fishable. The following are the river reports provided by the South Canterbury Catchment Board on Friday: all rivers at average flows, clearing and fishable. The following are the river flows supplied by the North Canterbury Catchment Board in cubic metres a second:
