FCL award
The New Zealand Society of Investment Analysts has announced that Fletcher Challenge has been voted the Best Communicator for 1987. The selection is made from all the New Zealand based companies listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. This is the sixth time that Fletcher Challenge has won the award. Previous winners include Newmans Group, NZI Corporation and Chase Corporation Limited. Fletcher Challenge was a clear leader, both in the disclosure of information and the dissemination of that information to all sectors of the financial community and shareholders. The company scores very highly in both the consistency and quality of information made available.
