Telerate stake
Dow Jones and Company has increased its stake in Telerate to more than half by purchasing 5.3 M shares of the financial market on-line data service firm from Forstmann Leff Associates for 5U5303.1M.
The share purchase from the New York money manager boosts its two-year-old stake in Telerate'to 56 per cent from 45 per cent Dow Jones and Company, which publishes the "Wall Street Journal" and "Barrons,” jointly purchased a 52 per cent stake in Telerate with privately held Oklahoma Publishing Company in August 1985, for more than SUS4SOM. But its individual stake in Telerate was only 32 per cent
