Fiji aid resumed
NZPA correspondent Suva The New Zealand High Commission in Fiji has announced in Suva that its Government will resume aid to Fiji in the form of long-term training programmes in New Zealand. The announcement was “warmly welcomed” by the Fiji Government, which said it would now be able to send 14 students to New Zealand.

A Government statement said that scholarships tenable in New Zealand this year had been suspended because of lack of funds. Applicants for, next year would now be interviewed.
