Easily the top price in the Christchurch and Timaru catalogues was 2160 c (72 per cent dry yield) for four bales of 18.1 micron Merino woolly hogget from P. H. and A. C. E. Gullidge (Ward). The same vendors received 1500 c (70.7) for three bales of 18.6 micron Merino. Four bales of 19.2 micron Merino from M. Giles (Blenheim) made 1272 c (70.9), A. O. H. and N. B. Among Halfbred sales were six bales of woolly hogget from Manilla Hills (Hawarden) at 637 c (73.4), five bales from A. D. Mcknight (Hawarden) at 551 c (72.2), and nine bales from B. M. Among Perendale wools were four bales of woolly hogget from High Peak station (Darfield) at 556 c (82.6) and eight bales of similar from the same vendor at 525 c (84.5). Stanbury (Little River) at 512 c (88.6), 11 bales of Perendale from Land Corporation (Kapitea Creek, Hokitika) at 509 c (85.8), and 10 bales of Perendale from R. W.
