Katherine White, aged 17, of Christchurch, will be the only South Island finalist in this year’s “Face of the 80s.” A sixth former at Villa Maria College, Katherine took up part-time modelling at the end of her fifth-form year and has now completed an advanced modelling course with the Spotlight Modelling Agency. She will line up with the 15 other finalists in Auckland next month for the final judging.
