PA Wellington Parliament sat at 2 p.m. yesterday. Six petitions were presented. Three, tabled by the Member for Clutha, Mr R. McD. Gray (Nat) asked for legal status to be given to the unborn child. Annual reports tabled were: Birkenhead Licensing Trust, Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery, National Museum and National War Memorial, Clean Air Council, Department of Labour, Mataura Licensing Trust, New Zealand Export-Import Corporation,

New Zealand Film Commission, New Zealand Lottery Board, Standards Council, State Services Commission, Wellington South Licensing Trust, Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Board, Con? sumer Council, and the Abortion Supervisory Committee. Annual reports of the Law Commission for the years ended March 31, 1986, and 1987 were tabled. Eighteen questions were answered. A general debate was conducted. The Wellington Harbour Board and Wellington City Council Vesting and Empowering Bill passed through its third reading. Parliament adjourned for dinner at 5.01 p.m.
